Most of artists have their studios in the back and in the front are their galleries that provide an outstanding place to display their work. Some of the artists are internationally known, so definitely worth a stop.

Backstreet is a unique community of artists’ working studios & galleries and businesses that provides art-related services in Palm Springs, CA.
We have an amazing assortment of original art for all tastes and budgets – paintings, ceramics, photography, mixed media, jewelry, lithography and more by locally, regionally and nationally recognized artists.
Right now it is a little complicated to visit us because of an ongoing Riverside County project to install storm drains. You can follow the yellow line on the Construction Map to find us!

The artists here are all so lovely! Each of them has such a cool back story and unique inspiration for their work. I highly recommend you to visit on the first Wednesday and see what they’re all about!
We literally just stumbled upon this artsy smorgasbord by following signage from E. Palm Canyon, but IMHO, it should be in the top 10 things to do in Palm Springs. There are about a dozen shops representing all mediums of art and you can meet/watch artists in action or just browse and purchase.
